MONSTRO

After "My Own Man" and "Live For Tomorrow," the first two singles preceding the album, Monstro is preparing to release its debut album in the fall of this year. Until then, a third single will also be released, the first in Portuguese: "Despertar," a song that previews the sonic universe of the upcoming album. Inspired by 1960s pop music, Monstro transports us to a world where melancholy is the raw material for intense and intimate songs. Gonçalo Ferreira and Isaac Oliveira, the two minds behind this monster, are longtime friends. They invited musicians João Vitor Costeira, Mafalda BS, and David Ferreira to join them.

The project performed for the first time on March 8th at gnration, supported by the program Trabalho da Casa, where recordings of the singles and album also began.
